No matter its configuration, the GS63VR is a genuine barn-burner when it comes to performance, and it became an all-around impressive unit inside our testing. We’d have already been just a little less disappointed if the display had a 120Hz refresh rate, like on MSI’s own GS63VR Titan Pro, but even then, an individual GeForce GTX 1070 could have been enough for 1080p. Most buyers will be looking to game on the MSI GT83VR’s internal display. Inside, with reduced flex. non-etheless, its way much better than not having lots pad at all.
Tilting the display back noticeably distorts the picture and colors. Nvidia G-Sync support further augments this by synchronizing the fps output of the graphics card with the displays refresh rate. MSI addresses this by including a gel wrist rest thats about the width of the chassis. The latter were still nice to see, considering that many notebooks leave them out nowadays.
